I tried launching with steam and disabling steam input but nothing works. I am using a wireless xbox 360 controller. It works for other game, even ea games like madden 23. Please help if you can. The controller works nowhere, neither in the menu or in game.
Right now I use a Power A Fusion controller that is similar to the XBox Elite controller that's wired in. It's the Fusion 2 but the Fusion 3 looks to be a bit better in my opinion. It also has a short and long thumbstick length and mine came with a white and black removeable faceplate.
Try the Xbox 360 controller emulator program x360ce. It'll allow you to use any controller, even more and keyboard, but it sends commands to the have as if it was a 360 controller with unnoticeable latency.

The solution that I found was to fix connect the controller via Bluetooth without having a cable plugged. After that turn the controller on and make sure it says connected in your Bluetooth/devices option, after I would just connect the cable for the controller to the pc.
