7 Ιουλ 2024 · [Update: July 8, 2024, 9 a.m.] Evacuation warnings and orders were expanded Sunday night in response to the growing Lake Fire, which has grown to 20,320 acres and is currently 8 percent contained, according to Calfire.
5 Ιουλ 2024 · The Sheriff’s Office has issued an EVACUATION WARNING for the area of Goat Rock, east of Figueroa Creek, north of the US Forest Service entrance at Happy Canyon Road, and south of Cachuma Mountain due to the Lake Fire.
6 Ιουλ 2024 · An evacuation warning is in place for residents in the area between Figueroa Mountain Road from the Forest Station to the Chamberlin Ranch, and also north of Zaca Creek Road, east of Foxen Canyon Road, and south of the Sisquoc River.
6 Ιουλ 2024 · The Lake Fire, which was first reported Friday, July 5, is now grown to 26,986 acres and is at 16 percent containment, according to the latest incident update by Cal Fire (www.fire.ca.gov/incidents/2024/7/5/lake-fire) at 5:57 p.m. Tuesday, July 9.
6 Ιουλ 2024 · The vegetation fire broke out at 3:46 p.m. Friday to the northeast of Figueroa Mountain near 5200 block of Figueroa Mountain Road. The fire has been named the “Lake Fire.” US Forest Service and Santa Barbara County firefighters are on the scene including hand crews, dozers, and water tenders.
