The entry drawing calendar includes the following dates: Important Dates for Runners. March 9: Application for the entry drawing opens at 12:00 p.m. ET ; March 23: Application window closes at 11:59 p.m. ET
Here’s everything you need to know on how to qualify for the NYC Marathon: Applying to the non-guaranteed general entry drawing occurs between February 8th and 22nd, and the actual lottery takes place on March 1st. Entries are filed through three categories: NYC metro-area applicants, National applicants, and International applicants.
