The Embassy’s customer service operates by appointment only. The Embassy does not have a walk-in service. To book an appointment for passport/ID renewal or document legalization, please send email to consulate.abo@gov.fi.
Visa applications to Finland are received by the Visa Application Centre of VFS Global, partner of the Embassy of Finland. It is necessary to book an appointment to submit your application. You can make an appointment through the VFS Global website (Link to another website.) or by contacting their telephone service (tel. +971 4 205 5907).
If you have applied at Enter Finland, you need to prove your identity within three months after submitting your application. You cannot use the e-service to apply for: a residence permit on the grounds of Finnish origin; a renewal of a residence permit card; travel documents; a Schengen visa; asylum; Option 2 -Applying with paper application
