Anyone else have issues with the First Alert Smoke/CO2 detectors? So I purchased 4 sets of the 10 year battery version of the FA Smoke/CO detectors (PC1210V) last year when they were discounted. In that year I've had 3/8 units become defective. They all went bad at different times in different rooms.
I've had nothing but trouble with the First Alert brand, false alarms and low battery chirps only months into a "10 year battery". I thought it was bad luck at first, but several multi-packs from Costco later I realized that the hardware just sucked.
