Trying to replace the electronic ignition on a first place engine 2.4. how do I fine tune/adjust the timing? The magnet is parallel to the prop shaft with no apparent means of adjustment.

I'm listing my First Place Engines 2.4 with electronic ignition. Right now this engine is going for $590 new. I currently have it on my Edge 540. Has upgraded electronic ignition, optional bosch spark plug wire and cap, and custom made Tru-turn spinner.
11 Δεκ 2018 · I would recommend one of the newer carbs as used on engines like the DLE 30 /35, EME 35, etc. These are available and are proven to work on your engine. You need an internal pressure port carb and the venturi size is usually 32/64" as cast (2 digit 32) just inside the intake side of the carb on the venturi.
13 Φεβ 2024 · I have a matched set of FPE 2.4 40cc Gas engines. They have billet cases and I just received them back from CH Ignitions where he installed a new Magnetic timing pickup and brand new Ignitions. I also had them converted from the older spark plug to the new CM6 plugs.
