17 Αυγ 2024 · “Hallowfall Fishing Derby” quests now give the option of either 2 Soaked Journal Entries, 2 Algari Seekerthreads, or 2 Algari Anglerthreads per completion. Fish specific pools such as the Royal Ripple and Swarm of Slum Sharks will now persist longer when found.

Get all the rare fish in the various Broken Isles zones. You'll probably get 800 fishing in the process of doing so. I can't speak from experience but other people have said so. Each time you catch one of the rare fish required for the achievement, you get 5 fishing skill.
This is the quest completed by the first person to win the Kalu'ak Fishing Derby each week. Like the Booty Bay contest, there is a quest for winning, and a quest for all the later anglers ("Better Luck Next Time"). And you don't take either quest until you have the catch.
