27 Φεβ 2005 · For hard-packed snow on highways where chains are required, I'd be concerned that you'd have a real thumpa thumpa thumpa going on at, say 30 MPH. The traction elements are pretty widely spaced. Maybe folks who've used "chains" like these can contribute some real-world experience.
