1 Μαρ 2022 · The marriage ceremony can be of any form, as long as there is a verbal consent to be joined in wedlock, the vows reflect the couple’s intentions to make a legally binding commitment to each other, and the Florida notary pronounces the couple married at the conclusion of the ceremony.
(2)You then perform the marriage ceremony. An example of a simple, civil ceremony is printed on page 6 in English and page 7 in Spanish. It may be personalized, and the bride and groom may even exchange their own vows. But, the couple’s vows must reflect their intentions to make a legally binding commitment to each other.
Both parties need to apply for a marriage license at a county clerk's office in Florida. The license is valid for 60 days from the date of issuance. The notary public’s job is to solemnize the couple's vows and certify the marriage ceremony.
