The mag base plate overhangs the magazine body on the sides. Because of the larger magazine locking tabs, inch mags can only be used in inch pattern guns. The inch pattern mags are probably the stronger and more durable of the two designs.

18 Ιαν 2012 · You will not find the SCAR-H (17S) internal components but you can make yours work if you're handy, as several members have had good results in modifying FAL metric (what you have) configuration magazines to function in their SCAR 17S carbines. Look here for the latest conversions:
