29 Μαΐ 2018 · Repairing FAL Magazines. In the past, FAL magazines were priced at a level that made it difficult to justify spending any time or money in repairing damaged ones. As the price of magazines increases, it may become cost-effective to repair instead of replace. I have designed tooling to repair.

11 Μαρ 2008 · My usual trick is to use a screwdriver small enough to fit into the gap between the floorplate & body & kind of walk it till the tabs are free. A second screwdriver pushing the front rearwards will help too.

4 Μαρ 2009 · On metric Mags have a LITTLE HOLE in the floor plate on the one end. Use a bullet tip or something to slide the floor plate out, It can go only one way and watch out for the spring as that is under pressure. Just keep one hand over the end that's opening as you slide the floor plate off.

8 Οκτ 2009 · There are several versions of the gas plug, but disassembly is similar for all. Push in cross pin in gas plug, hold in & rotate 90 degrees to unlock from gas block. Gas piston & spring should pop out 2~3" under spring tension.
