As the price of magazines increases, it may become cost-effective to repair instead of replace. I have designed tooling to repair.
11 Μαρ 2008 · It needs to move away from the magazine body just enough that the 2 little "detents" can clear the magazine body. then it just slides off releasing the spring inside. My usual trick is to use a screwdriver small enough to fit into the gap between the floorplate & body & kind of walk it till the tabs are free.
3 Αυγ 2012 · list of common issues, solutions found, etc. Here are a couple of things I learned: Repair issues: > dents to the sides of the mag: Use a socket of the same thickness, slide into mag until it is under the dent, and use a ball peen hammer to straightenp. >feed lips bent: for minor issues, can straighten with pliers.
