Felipe Rojas Alou (born May 12, 1935) is a Dominican former Major League Baseball outfielder, first baseman, coach and manager. He managed the Montreal Expos (1992–2001) and the San Francisco Giants (2003–2006).
1 Οκτ 2023 · A three-time All-Star, Alou batted .286 with 2,101 hits and 206 home runs over his 17-year career with the Giants, Braves, A’s, Yankees, Expos and Brewers. He later became the first Dominican-born manager in Major League history, winning 1,033 games over his 14 seasons at the helm of the Expos and Giants.
McGraw won 2,583 games as the Giants manager, the most in Giants history. While managing the Giants, the team won the National League championship 10 times—in 1904, 1905, 1911, 1912, 1913, 1917, 1921, 1922, 1923 and 1924.

28 Φεβ 2012 · Felipe’s brother Mateo, generally called Matty in the States, signed with the Giants before the 1957 season and began to work his way up through the minors. He debuted in late 1960, and reached the majors full time in 1961, hitting .310 in 200 at-bats.
