  3. Athletic Training (MATrn) As a health care professional, athletic trainers care for and rehabilitate their patients in universities, schools, corporations, professional sports teams and more. This program participates in the Western Regional Graduate Program and offers tuition reduction for students in participating states.

  4. You will gain hands-on, practical experiences at Division I (OSU), Division II (Western Oregon University), and high school athletic training clinical sites. You will also have clinical education experiences with team physicians and physical therapists associated with OSU athletics and local hospitals.

  5. As an athletic trainer, you will collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals to provide preventive services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions.

Oregon State's mascot is Benny the Beaver.
