" Purity " is a song by American heavy metal band Slipknot, which appeared on the original version of the band's 1999 self-titled debut album. Due to copyright infringement issues, "Purity" and the interlude track "Frail Limb Nursery" were removed from later editions of the album.

Both songs were inspired by a crimescene.com report on a Mississippi woman called Purity Knight : a student who – according to police documents, photos and audio on the website – was kidnapped and buried alive.
Frail Limb Nursery contains an excerpt from this alleged interview about Purity Knight. The section from the song starts at 1:47. Frail Limb and Purity were released with the album in June of 1999.
