13 Απρ 2005 · I’ve been looking for a new FTA receiver to upgrade my free to air experience. I think I have found the answer in the Coolsat 4000 Pro.
You upload the channels from the receiver to your computer using the loader that comes with the Coolsat. Once uploaded, you can either open it in the Coolsat channel editor program or Channelmaster. You can move channels around, rename them, edit transponder lists, rename satellites (C-Banders LOVE this feature because you can rename G10 X0 or ...

FTA or free-to-air TV channels are distributed without encryption methods and do not require any subscription or activation fees, unlike other types of satellite service. An RS232 port is located on the rear of the Coolsat 5000 Platinum to allow users to program the receiver with the latest software.
