Here's a collection of 50 .PNG Heightmap Files I made for Unreal Engine. These heightmaps were created and rendered using the ANT Landscape plugin in Blender, then edited with GIMP. I made a Tutorial on how to create your own heightmaps. License is CC0, free for personal and commercial use. Just don't try to sell them as is, please.
4 Οκτ 2014 · I’ve solved my pipeline problem now but thought I would share some sample heightmaps for use in Unreal Engine with anyone else looking to test how to import a heightmap (that isn’t included in existing content packs or samples).
