I've downloaded quite a few maps that react badly to water(I.e lakes/rivers) when added I'll try this later and let you how it goes but of the bat your height maps look sick AF.
13 Αυγ 2016 · I will be continually adding FREE full resolution (8129px) heightmaps and material coverage maps I make with World Machine Pro for the community. You can use however you want. I want to share my height maps with the community since I never get around to actually completing a map mod, and I thought the height maps could be useful to some people.
We have started hitting usage limits for some maps providers. If you find the exports not working, please consider donating so that we can upgrade our accounts. Tip: You can copy and paste a latititude/longitude string anywhere on this page to input it straight into the respective inputs.
Sea level is set to 200 meters, Height scale to 50%, below sea level to 5 meters and all land is raised. By setting only land rise, and below sea level to 10, the land will raise 10 meters out of the sea. In the map editor from cities, the sea level can also be adjusted.

Please see the height map page by clicking here. The maps are both the same resolution and file type: Rugged Terrain with Rocky Peaks Height Map. Height Map Resolution: 4096 X 4096.
