BE (Blue Essence) can be earned through leveling, champion mastery, Honor, or other sources. BE can be used to craft champions in Loot or purchase them in the store.

Still, the best way to get RP is to buy it almost 100%. However long it takes to enter a contest or boost someone or draw for riot is almost always going to be less efficient than spending that time working and using that money.
