- Report a Suspicious Email
Verify any phone number that appears in a text message. If you’re in doubt, call the client service number on our Contact Us page, on your statement or on the back of your credit, debit or ATM card. If you receive what appears to be a fraudulent text message, we urge you to report it immediately.
15 Μαρ 2023 · The Bank of America email or text message is a scam that aims to infect your device with malware to steal your personal and financial information. If you receive the Bank of America email or text message, do not call the customer support number.
7 Μαρ 2023 · If you receive a text message from Bank of America that asks you to confirm your bank account number, Social Security number, or provide your login credentials, it’s a scam.
If you received a suspicious phone message and provided personal or financial information, contact us immediately at 800-432-1000. You can also forward any suspicious text message to your cell phone provider at 7726 (“SPAM”) and follow their instructions.
If you receive any suspicious email or text message that appears to be from Bank of America, forward it to us at abuse@bankofamerica.com. Remember: Don’t transfer money or make payments as a result of an unexpected phone call or text.
