9 Απρ 2019 · Why I chose the Freewing 80mm A-4 Skyhawk: 1. The primary reason I chose the A-4 is the NOSEWHEEL assembly has a TRAILING LINK (TL), not just the OLEO strut found on most other EDFs I've considered. I fly off grass exclusively.

The 80mm Freewing A-4E/F Skyhawk, the latest Vietnam-era EDF in the Freewing lineup, is what many EDF enthusiasts have been waiting for. It has a big 90mm feel to it and an imposing presence in the air and on the ground.
Here are my review notes for this stunning Freewing EDF Jet: Pros: - Nice smooth finish on foam. - Scale retracts with quality suspension. - You can go between the F & E models with ease due to the magnetic “hump”.
13 Μαρ 2018 · The A-4 is a quick assembly requiring the aft fuselage section be glued on and then the dorsal, horizontal tails and wings bolted onto the airframe. From there, it’s just a matter of setting up the radio. I did find that the dorsal was a pretty tight fit to get onto the fuselage and that the wings were a little fiddly too.
