Located in the original Allen County courthouse, The History Center walks visitors through the fascinating history of Fort Wayne. The impressive collection includes more than 32,000 artifacts and 20,000 photographs, along with life-size recreations of an original foundry and Allen County Jail.
The History Center, located in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana, is housed in the Old City Hall Building. This historic building has been the headquarters for the Allen County–Fort Wayne Historical Society since 1980. As a museum, it offers visitors a glimpse into the rich history of the region.
