  5. This application (Form 41-4) is the Commission’s universal application, and is used for all first-time and renewal applications regardless of the type of credential certificate, or permit you are applying for.

  6. To renew your eligible credential (s)/permit (s), you must login to your CTC educator profile. Please visit www.ctc.ca.gov, click Educator Login. Find the document you wish to renew listed under Renew Your Document. If you have difficulty, you may refer to Renew Your Document Online.

  7. To renew your Clear Credential, simply login to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) website, choose the document you wish to renew and pay the application fee. It's important to note that renewing the clear credential can only be done online at the moment.
