The GA 35, GA 36, and GA 37 antennas include GPS/WAAS antennas and GPS/WAAS with SiriusXM combination antenna. The coax cable interface to the receiving equipment provides both power to the antenna preamp from the receiving equipment and signal back to the receiving equipment.
This manual describes the physical, mechanical, and electrical characteristics and the installation requirements for the GPS 100 Aviation Kit. After installation of the GPS 100 system, FAA Form 337 must be completed by an appropriately certificated agency to return the aircraft to service.
The antenna installation must provide adequate support for the antenna considering a maximum drag load of 5 lbs. for the GA 56 antennas (at subsonic speed). Install a doubler plate to reinforce thin skinned aircraft. Observe guidelines for acceptable installation practices as outlined in AC 43.13-2A.

If the antenna is removed and replaced, verify proper operation by successfully completion of the self test of the interfaced receiving equipment. Penetration of the pressure vessel of a pressurized aircraft is not approved under this STC installation.
