24 Νοε 2020 · It is a cheap alternative to the GMS10 and it worked for me. I did not have to do anything special, just plug and play. Also to note, I had trouble with the Garmin connector sliding over this ethernet cable.

6 Απρ 2013 · Can I use a network hub or switch instead of the Garmin port expander? Of course, being Garmin , it's at least twice as expensive. Feeding radar , AIS and maybe other stuff in the future to a Garmin.

7 Δεκ 2021 · The GS308 in the above post is a good choice. For all of Garmin's features/options to work the same as a GMS10 and Garmin cables, you need to use ethernet cables with a metal shielded/grounded RJ45. The one feature that I've seen fail with standard network cables is the Auto On feature.
