Jersey City! We have a number of bars that do drag shows (though personally I think they're all a little boring/mainstream, for the good/weird stuff I go into NY). Gay bars are Pint and Six26. Jersey City also does a great pride weekend in August. Asbury Park is also great.

Georgie’s Bar is a friendly neighborhood bar self-portraying itself as Asbury Park’s LGBT “Cheers,” Georgie’s is the sort of place where you can relax, kick back some good drinks, and chat with the bartenders and locals. During the week, the crowd is mostly male, but a lot of women come out on the weekends.
For over 23 years, Georgie's has been a stronghold for the LGBTQ community of Asbury Park and the surrounding shore area. Now that we are coming into our third decade, Georgies will remain dedicated to our patrons, our various charities, and the greater Asbury Park community.
