Genesis chapter 23 records Sarah’s death and Abraham’s investment in her eternal inheritance with a cave in the city of Hebron. From this chapter, God reveals seven lessons about placing your hope and your investments in your eternal inheritance in heaven.
1. (Genesis 23:1) The death of Sarah. Sarah lived one hundred and twenty-seven years; these were the years of the life of Sarah. a. Sarah lived one hundred and twenty-seven years: Sarah is the only woman in the Bible whose age at death is recorded.
