Thought I'd post it again in light of the news. From what I can tell, my site is the only financially stable alternative to GeoGuessr. TLDR: Completely free (ad supported) and unlimited street view game at https://worldledaily.com. Locations are generated and you’re able to filter the type of locations you want to see.
19 Δεκ 2020 · Have not heard about any free alternatives. There are still a few ways to play this for free though. You can either join challenges right here on Reddit or you can play along streamers doing challenges or ChatGuessr mode.
There will never be a good free alternative to geoguessr. Google charges money for use of their API. Services that use the API need to recoup those costs somehow. I feel bad for you if you can't afford $3 a month.

I don't know what I would be without GeoGuessr and the welcoming geography community here on Reddit. Also, since City Guesser show's real video, being able to hear sounds around you is a huge help for geo-guessing. 🔈

19 Σεπ 2017 · Just recently discovered GeoGuessr and I love it! I'm seeing "TRY IT FOR FREE FOR 10 DAYS!" on the page to sign up for the Pro version, but I can't figure out how to do it. When I click "Go Pro Now", it prompts me to enter payment info. Surely I don't have to enter credit card info just to get a free trial, right? What am I missing?
