19 Μαρ 2021 · Here's an interesting Gew98 muzzle cover, previously Kaiserliche-Marine, II. MatrosenArtillerie-Abteilung 100 (lined out). The lid exhibits a Weimar naval marking, Nordsee 1548. Two inspection marks are visible, the spring has a "U" that's faint & won't photograph with my phone.
