European SDS is now created according to regulation No 2020/878 - CLP No. 1272/2008 - REACH No. 1907/2006 - GB CLP (and all other relevant national regulations). Below examples is according to new SDS regulation No 2020/878.
The main purpose of GHS is to harmonize classification criteria and hazard communication tools (label and SDS) at national, regional and worldwide level. However, REACH SDS needs to be ajusted and translated before they can be used in China, Korea and Japan.
A safety data sheet template is used to inform workers of the properties, hazards, and safe use of chemicals in an occupational setting. Chemical manufacturers can use this template to write and update safety data sheets, and workers can use it as a safety guide when handling hazardous chemicals.
