Lexington School District One, or Lexington One, is a school district in Lexington County, South Carolina, serving the greater areas of Lexington, Pelion, and Gilbert. Lexington One is the largest school district in Lexington County and the 6th largest school district in the state of South Carolina with an enrollment of 27,300 students.

Gilbert High School is a rural, community school located 15 miles west of Lexington, SC and 22 miles from Columbia, SC. Our school is proud to be a part of Lexington District One. The town of Gilbert is famous for being the location of the annual Lexington County Peach Festival.
Lexington County School District One offers a well-rounded education for students from pre-kindergarten all the way through high school. With 32 schools encompassing 18 elementary, 8 middle, and 5 high schools, Lexington One caters to the needs of a diverse student body.
