Girl Scout Daisies join their flower friends for a cross-country road trip in their special flower-powered car! As they travel the country, living the values of the Girl Scout Law, the flowers explore the natural world around them, learning what’s local and why that’s important.
Ask for examples of times when Daisies have been considerate and caring (10-15 min). Explain the activity for today. Daisies will recognize and identify other peoples feelings. Activity #1: Considerate and Caring means that you think and care about how others feel.
During this Session, Girl Scout Daisies will practice communication skills while problem‐solving, compromising, and being considerate to others through role‐playing activities. Then, they will use their imaginations to spread their wings and “fly” like Robin. Format: Whole Group
Teach either the “Girl Scout Daisy Song” or “I’m a Little Daisy.”. Sit at tables and introduce the Girl Scout Law using the Flower Friends (GGGS pages 6 – 7). Stay at the tables or get in the Girl Scout Daisy Circle to read, “Lupe’s Story” from the awards section of the Girl’s Guide.
