The 2 games have very different styles. Portal 1 is lonely and isolated to the point where you form a strong attachment to a simple thing like a cube with a heart on it. Portal 2 is a lot more upbeat, everything feels alive from the cores to the walls and floor.
GLaDOS in portal 2 is actually pretty much the same as in the portal 1 version, it's just mainly her missing eyepiece that makes her look so different. Here is a neat photo comparing the two versions: https://m.imgur.com/eHRnkjq.
portal 1 has the better atmosphere, but portal 2 has the netter gameplay, specially the coop mode.
27 Ιουν 2021 · Portal 1 has less plot and dialogues - but is more action-packed, clear and timid. Portal 2 has way bigger story and lore - but feels too-much and too-packed. one way or another, but both games are awesome, you can't go wrong with any of two. Showing 1 - 11 of 11 comments.

4 Νοε 2023 · In possession of a feminine programming, she is the antagonist of Portal and the first half of the single-player campaign in Portal 2. During the later half, she becomes the game's tritagonist. In the game's cooperative campaign, GLaDOS is the testing supervisor of Atlas and P-body.
While the development of Portal 2 some graphical improvements were possible and Valve thought that redesigning and changing some things might be better. Admittedly, e.g. the GlaDOS redesign looks way more impressive.
