20 Μαρ 2012 · Aluminum transom repair. Use a wire cup brush on a drill or angle grinder to clean your pitting, then use JB weld or another epoxy type metal filler to fill your pits. You can seal your transom wood with the gluvit if you want, if it works on seams and rivets it'll work on your wood too.

30 Αυγ 2008 · #1 · Aug 30, 2008. Has anyone used this product? It claims that the thin epoxy will penetrate cracks and seal seep leaks on aluminum boats. A friend used a similar product on his Jonboat with very good results. I am considering using it on the keel and around the centerboard of the aluminum sailboat I just bought.
