21 Σεπ 2011 · No, if it wouldn't start by jumping the posts on the solenoid, it's a bad starter. Try tapping on the starter while pushing the start button and see if it will start. Sometimes, this will jar the starter and cause it to work temporarily.
28 Ιαν 2011 · There should be two small wires going to the relay, one yellow/red and one green/red. Yellow/red is the positive and green/red is the ground. On the two posts on top of the relay, one wire goes straight to the starter and the other wire goes straight to the positive post of the battery.
