A golden cape is a tradeable rare item that is rewarded by completing the Golden Cape Hunt. It is created by combining eight golden cape shards obtained during a four-week period between 30 May 2023 to 25 June 2023.

These tasks consist of the following: A chance to obtain 1 Shard by earning Combat XP. A chance to obtain 1 Shard for earning Artisan XP.

27 Ιουν 2023 · As a result, we're delighted to confirm the Golden Cape Hunt will return for one weekend only on June 30 at ~10:15 Game Time. Once we deploy a Coldfix update - which requires us to reboot all Game Worlds at this time - the event will be active until 23:59 on July 2.
They're lovely pieces or content, not least because they're personally meaningful and important to the players who wear them. Dedicated people have even sewn replicas of their completionist cape in real life! It doesn't matter how shiny this new cape is, it can't ever beat that personal connection.
