Answer to original question: Looks like you only need 1 golden pearl for runed arcanite rod. IE, each player leveling enchanting, dropping it, then releveling will only ever need 1 pearl. (Rod doesn't go anywhere) The demand won't be too extreme but might get a little bump past normal tbc inflation.
