From what I've read, there are more quality issues with Goodman gas burner equipment than with the AC equipment. I don't have any facts to back that up though.

We sold Goodman for 3 of those years and they are by far the worst brand on the market. The amount of service calls I get on Goodman vs. other brands is at least double. I think trane.and carrier are the most reliable.
