Since Dragonflight, every time I went in the Maw for the event, it has been stuck on "Defeat the Gorged Shadehound" but it's never spawned. Locked post. New comments cannot be posted.
Yes, that's correct. However, once the Shadehound spawns ANYONE can kill it and have a shot at the mount regardless of their reputation with V'Nari.
During Hunt: Shadehounds event complete all steps until kill the Elite Gorged Shadehound (this elite has chance to drop the mount Mawsworn Soulhunter) Hope for drop the mount. Drop Chance: 1.35%; This mount has the particularity to be ridable in The Maw. The rewards from Gorged Shadehound can be looted once a week.
Been waiting for about an hour for this “Gorged Shadehound” to spawn in the Beastwarrens section of the Maw. Looking on wowhead it suggested exploring the cave by the shadehound, as well as killing nearby creatures, none of which seemed to spawn the shadehound.
For the record, the way this went today was: First character: level 65 Evoker that had never been in SL. Did introductory Covenant quests with soul bind unlock, skipped up to Korthia. Killed the six Mawsworn packs but the shadehound never broke free. Packs started respawning one by one, did another round of killing them all, nothing.
