GLA is a two weeks intensive program designed empower young people to vibrantly participate in policy making processes and to have a voice in decision making as well as to build their capacities in leadership, human rights and democracy, the program seeks to develop and nurture future youth leaders.
18 Σεπ 2022 · The program dubbed ‘Generation Leadership Academy’ was officially launched this weekend by Citizen Voice and Actions (CVA), an organization that focuses on inclusive Governance and Rights and Youth Engagement among others.
The Cornerstone Leadership Academy in Rwanda opened in 2007, and is situated on top of a hill overlooking lake Muhazi, in the highlands of Eastern Rwanda, 40 mins drive from Kigali town. This boarding school is a co-ed campus, empowering both young men and young women in the same learning environment.
Through the Youth Leadership Academy Project, Never Again Rwanda is empowering young people to become active citizens and responsible leaders of their communities. Never Again Rwanda believes youth are future leaders who will be able to use their new skills in leading change and making a positive contribution.
