Residents must contact the Fire and Life Safety Division to inquire about burning permits, blasting permits, and underground tank removal permits. Inspections are divided up into districts and specialty areas to provide consistent and knowledgeable guidance to all residents and business owners.
We also perform mandated fire inspection for all Guilford County Schools as well as all Charter Schools located within Guilford County including areas inside the city limits of Greensboro & High Point. Additionally, we provide home fire inspection services for Group and Foster Homes upon request.
