The DTI provides updated suggested retail prices (SRPs) for basic necessities and prime commodities (BNPCs) such as, but not limited to, canned and other food products, bottled water, dairy, and common household or kitchen supplies. To download a copy of the SRP for BNPCs, click here.
"e-Presyo” is the Online Price Monitoring System (OPMS) of the DTI where consumers can check the prevailing prices of basic necessities and prime commodities that are being monitored by the DTI. It serves as a price guide for consumers in doing their grocery shopping which in turn ensures “value for money".

The source of data for the new series is the Retail Price Survey (RPS) of Commodities for the generation of the monthly Consumer Price Index (CPI) with base year 2012 and 2018. For the old series, the source of data “Retail Price Survey (RPS) of Selected Agricultural Commodities” which was already discontinued effective February 2021.
