Semi-inletted stocks require proficient hobby woodworking skills, and the action needs to be hand inletted and fit to the stock. Gun makes & models that are cut infrequently, or custom setups, usually fall into this category.
3 Δεκ 2013 · There are basically two ways to make a gunstock using the duplication method — the semi-inlet and the one-to-one inlet. A semi-inlet stock is made from a chosen pattern, suited to fit a particular rifle's action, magazine and floorplate.
Custom Gunstock (semi-inletted) Most semi-inletted stocks originally look like this. This article shows what it takes to complete a custom gunstock into a masterpiece. I purchaced this stock directly from "Richards Micro-fit". It's a spectacular piece of "A" Grade walnut that came 96% inletted.
