Payson Keeler (Ayla Kell), Kaylie Cruz (Josie Loren), Lauren Tanner (Cassie Scerbo), and newcomer Emily Kmetko (Chelsea Hobbs) are elite-level gymnasts training for the 2012 Summer Olympics at a gym called "The Rock".
Set in the world of competitive gymnastics, the series follows a group of teen Olympic hopefuls as they train for their day in the spotlight. Having just clinched victory at the World Championships, the Rock girls head to the USA Training Center with the goal of making the 2012 Olympic team.
With the help of their tough but compassionate coach, Sasha Belov, the gymnasts must overcome the drama and arguments to succeed. The cast includes Chelsea Hobbs as newcomer Emily Kmetko, Ayla Kell as Payson Keeler, Josie Loren as Kaylie Cruz, and Cassie Scerbo as Lauren Tanner. The Rock's manager, Summer, is played by Candace Cameron Bure.
