Production. Phosphoric acid is produced industrially by one of two routes, wet processes and dry. [18][19][20] Wet process. In the wet process, a phosphate-containing mineral such as calcium hydroxyapatite and fluorapatite are treated with sulfuric acid. [21] Ca5(PO4)3OH + 5 H2SO4 → 3 H3PO4 + 5 CaSO 4 + H2O.
15 Απρ 2024 · Calculate the pH of a solution of a weak monoprotic weak acid or base, employing the "five-percent rule" to determine if the approximation 2-4 is justified. Predict whether an aqueous solution of a salt will be acidic or alkaline, and explain why by writing an appropriate equation.

18 Ιουν 2021 · A strong acid yields 100% (or very nearly so) of \(\ce{H3O+}\) and \(\ce{A^{−}}\) when the acid ionizes in water; Figure \(\PageIndex{1}\) lists several strong acids. A weak acid gives small amounts of \(\ce{H3O+}\) and \(\ce{A^{−}}\).
30 Ιαν 2023 · Calculate pH and pOH of a weak acid or base solution using simple formula, quadratic equation, and including autoionization of water. Calculate the pH or pOH quickly. Some common weak acids and bases are given here.
7 Μαΐ 2024 · What is the reason for the phosphoric acid HX3POX4 H X 3 P O X 4 being a weak acid despite having a structure similar to that of sulfuric acid HX2SOX4? H X 2 S O X 4? I found some sources claiming that the resonance of one oxygen with double-bonded oxygen blocks the resonance of that of OHX−, O H X −, destabilising the negative charge.
