Characters in Hades are all taken from Greek mythology, although with some tweaks to fit the story. Most characters only provide conversation and possibly a Keepsake if they are given Nectar . The Olympian gods will give Zagreus Boons if he is found during an escape attempt.

Boons are upgrades given by the gods to help Zagreus in his attempts to escape the underworld. They can be obtained as rewards for clearing a room marked with the respective god's symbol or purchased for 150 from Charon's shop.
Yes! The mod does include duo boons. Currently there is Aphrodite, Demeter, Artemis, and Ares duo boons (Famed Duet from Artemis is my favourite!) but we’ll be eventually adding duo boons across all gods and goddesses. Yes, even Apollo-Hestia, Apollo-Hephaestus, etc. boons when they come out.
