You have to download the Half Life 2 Beta Mega Build, search it up on google and you'll find it.
So basically only the base game for Half Life 2 is fully updated. Sadly most games in this repack use ancient version of Source Engine and that old version has issues with modern hardware. On my i7 8700k and GTX 1080Ti games like Episode 1 and 2 have fps drops every few seconds.
If you specifically want the old engine version of the game, you should ask over at http://sourceruns.org.
