Welcome to the Historic Hampton House Museum of Culture & Art. Located in Miami-Dade County's Brownsville neighborhood (just 10 minutes from Miami Beach), the onetime hotel is one of the few remaining Green Book sites of the Jim Crow era.
Miami’s Historic Hampton House is located at 4240 NW 27th Ave, Miami, FL 33142 and provides on-site parking in a gated lot directly behind the building. The Historic Hampton House can be accessed from major highways I-95, I-195, and I-395.
The Washington D.C. Temple, dedicated in 1974, was the third temple to be topped with an angel Moroni statue. Nine sculptors submitted designs. Avard Fairbanks’s design of a graceful angel holding a trumpet to its lips and a replica of the gold plates in its left arm was selected.

To Dallin, Moroni symbolized the restoration of the gospel, and since his placement atop the Salt Lake Temple, the golden figure of an angel in flowing robes with a long horn pressed to his lips has become one of the Church’s most recognized symbols.
