The Hatfield-McCoy Trails are composed of 10 total trail systems, many of which connect to the surrounding ATV-friendly towns, meaning you can legally drive your machine on the road! While hitting the trails with our Jeep or a dirt bike was tempting, we ultimately decided to rent a side-by-side from BAC Country Rentals.

Located in the beautiful and rugged mountains of Southern West Virginia, this trail system is one of the largest of its kind in the world! Set in a collection of “ATV Friendly Towns,” the Hatfield-McCoy Trail System is known as Trails Heaven.
Overview. Length : 70+ miles. Towns: Logan, Ethel. Vehicles Allowed: All (ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, OHVs, Jeeps, Trucks, etc) Can I Buy A Permit At Trailhead: Yes. This trail is a mix of the most difficult rated single track mixed with easy trails.
