6 Μαΐ 2022 · This unit has the capability to extract digital HDMI audio signals from an HDMI compliant source, such as the new console systems, and provide audio output via the 3.5mm port for a 2Ch format, or the Optical out port for a 2CH / 5Ch format.
If you are using av receiver you can use your stereo system through hdmi. Only headphone amps are not working. The only solution is to use tv’s optical out if you have, but for me it’s not an option, because I’m using a monitor (without optical output). And you can use hdmi audio splitter.
I have a Sonos Era 300 and it came with a USB-C port for audio..and the only way to get hardwired audio in is through their proprietary adapter. I literally can’t connect any of the audio between $2000 worth of consoles and monitor and speakers.
I currently use the SteelSeries Arctis Pro + GameDac. I connect it thru an optical cable from my Xbox One S to the GameDac which thru USB is plugged into my laptop so I can use Discord and get audio from both my laptop and Xbox at the same time.
For Xbox Series X|S, most of our products received a free firmware update to allow the USB audio to provide game audio resulting in a direct connection between your console and TV or monitor becoming available.
20 Φεβ 2022 · As I've found out, the xbox has no proper audio outputs, so I'm only limited to the jack on the console. I have a Logitech PRO X wired headset that comes with a basic usb DAC and there is no way to connect the DAC, which makes the audio poor at best.
Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Volume & audio output. Under Speaker audio, you can adjust the following settings: HDMI audio - Keep this set at Stereo uncompressed unless your HDMI cable is plugged into a receiver that can process 5.1 or 7.1 uncompressed signals.
